I had the privilege of enjoying a wonderful dining experience here three weeks ago. The young gentleman who served us was top notch ! He was am am exceptional server!! The 4 courses I had were simply incredible .. a blend of traditional fare as well as some modern selections made the dining experience that much more engaging ... Clearly the management has out done themselves here! Every staff member we engaged with was professional, friendly, and helpful. The chaos of so many other restaurants (shouting, meals coming out at seperate times, servers not having time to answer questions, sitting and waiting to be acknowledged, etc.) There was no sign of it that evening in any section as I observed very carefully. I worked in the hospitality industry for 20 years and have honestly not experienced too many establishments that have a team like I found here! Congrats to everyone for a job well done!!! I will be back again without a doubt!! (I apologise to our server for not remembering his name but I will try to remember and include it. I did write it down as I was intending to write a letter to the management to express my thanks and genuine enjoyment )

Good and friendly service. They have French and English menus. Some staff speak English as well.$20 lunch special is a good deal - comes with a drink (beer, wine, or juice), entree, and a dessert. The menu and staff is very clear in what is included in the prix fixe, and what is additional cost. The wild meat pie (+4$) is a lot richer than the regular meat pie, but much tastier.Maple syrup pie is tasty but very sweet, the dollop of unsweetened cream on top pairs well.Nice, relaxed ambiance. Cool wood carvings on the wall.A block away from all the main touristy areas.

Attentive service and absolutely great quality food the salad with pickled beets and wapiti sausage was amazing. Soup of the day was turnip and was delicious. Everything was perfectly cooked. The fact that a glass of wine or beer was included in the set menu made it even nicer. Good prices too.

We choose this place because we were looking for an authentic Quebec experience. To some extent, this was achieved, but, for the most part, I found it too stuffy and overpriced. The menu is extensive, but outrageously expensive, including individual entrees of over $80 (!). It's clear you are being pushed towards a prix fixe menu of roughly $50 per person. There are multiple courses for this price, so prepare to stay awhile. The food was good, not great. The service was polite but rushed (to be fair, it was very busy). This place is quite decent, but frankly somewhat pedestrian and dull. They do feed you though, as quantity is no issue. Frankly, for the money there are far more interesting choices in a town full of restaurants.

Wow. Their food is such high-quality that it would even be reasonable for them to take $80 for 3 people at lunch. The food seems like it is just plain tasty, but its actually really good with no taste sticking out (what most restaurants do). The food is absolutely amazing, since they made all this in such a short time, and its a shame that I cannot give them a 120% rating. Seriously, like, this place makes you eat so much that I nearly had no room to eat dessert! Honestly, we saw people complaining on the reviews that its too expensive, so to give you guys a tip, come at lunchtime. Too bad we were too busy eating to take pictures!Last but not least, you must taste meat pate here! ;) Well, thank the food tour guide who suggested us this place!
